Meet The Team
Andrew Fryer BSc(Hons) Podiatry
HCPC Reg, MChS PGc sports podiatry
I took over the Podiatry Clinic in Cheadle Hulme in 2004, which first opened its doors some time in the 1960’s by Brenda Ashton.
I grew up in the Lake District and trained at the Durham school of Podiatrist Medicine. I qualified in 1999 and worked in West Cumbria Community NHS. I ran a small cottage hospital in Millom and looked after all the foot care needs in the area. I moved to Cheadle Hulme and worked for the Tameside Community NHS within GP Surgeries, Nursing Homes, Community Clinics and Nail Surgery Clinics. The last 14 years I have worked part time as clinical lead in the Musculoskeletal Podiatry clinics, where I specialised in orthopaedic and sports podiatry.
I have two little boys which take up most of my time but I still love playing cricket at Stockport Trinity Cricket Club in Bramhall playing golf locally and going back home to Coniston.
